FORMAT: 50-minute class format sessions programmed and guided by certified trainers with no more than 10 people in a class.
PROGRAMMING: Functional training includes types of exercises that mimic movements you make in your daily life. Functional training takes muscle groups through a full functional range of motion at different tempos and levels of intensity and can be helpful for athletic performance, injury prevention, and everyday tasks.
PRE-REQUISITES: Populations that are medically cleared for mid to higher level physical fitness activity. Participants signing up for small group classes should have at least some level of fitness experience, physical readiness (flexibility, mobility, and/or conditioning), and be capable of focusing on receiving sets of directions and performing them.
FORMAT: Not a class, but a more laid back work at your own pace guided workout session. Session lengths are 30-40 minutes with no more than 8 people in a session.
PROGRAMMING: Functional training with full body, lower body, or upper body programming options each day. The workout consisting of base level, easy to perform exercises that can be progressed as desired. A trainer will teach you workouts to learn and eventually be able to come in and do on your own at your own pace and intensity.
PRE-REQUISITES: These sessions are aimed for people getting back into fitness, for beginners wanting to learn a fitness routine, for individuals coming back from an injury, and/or for individuals that need/desire self-paced workouts. This may also serve as a good pre-requisite to the more demanding small group classes.
Custom fitness programming made specific to an individual's needs. Great for individuals desiring one-on-one sessions for a more personal approach outside of a class or small group setting.
Performance and strength-based training for athletes. This will include workout sessions to build and maintain strength and athleticism while helping to prevent injury.
Small groups. Physical training combined with on the mat technique training and practice.

One-on-one personal training with custom programming built to that individual and their goals. Contact us to inquire and set up an initial consult and discuss custom personal training packages.
One-on-one OR micro group (4 or less athletes with similar goals) customized training. Program design will be custom to the athletes sport preferences or desired areas of athletic development.
Athletic wrestling fitness training and wrestling skill and technique practices.

Accepted a college football scholarship to attend school and play football at Ferris State University. Started four years at quarterback for the football team. After college, Tom would spend the next four years in Stuttgart, Germany playing and coaching for the Stuttgart Scorpions of the German Football League (GFL1).
Tom has spent the last seven years at Addison High School as the school’s first full-time strength and conditioning coach, training 100-125 individuals each year and it's sports teams. From 2019-2024 Tom also served as Addison's head varsity wrestling coach and is currently still managing Addison's youth wrestling club.
Tom lives in Clarklake, MI with his wife Josie. He enjoys working out, coaching, golfing, traveling, and working in his gym.

Podium10 is a private gym and doesn't necessarily operate on a daily/hourly schedule, but by an appointment, training, and programming schedule. If you are trying to get in touch with the gym, call/text/email and we will be quick to respond.

Yes. Call/text/email us to discuss options and availability. Podium10 is currently hosting and implementing performance training for area sports teams. Head trainer Tom Schneider is an NASM-Performance Enhancement Specialist and has years of experience training guys and girls high school and middle school sports teams including football, chearleading, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, track and field, and more.
Not yet. Podium10 is a private gym facility and will not open with any “open gym” functionality to start. If open-gym opportunities arise in the future, a schedule for such days and times will be released.
